Michael Mains Appointed as Chesterfield High's New Football Head Coach

Michael Mains, math teacher and Offensive Coordinator at Chesterfield High, has just been named the new football head coach, after Chris Arnoult announces his resignation.  Coach Mains has eight years teaching experience and seven years coaching experience. Mains states, "I have had a great 4 years at Chesterfield and look forward to continuing that as the Head Football Coach.  I played for Coach Arnoult in high school and look forward to building on the foundation we started together.  We are going to continue to run an up-tempo offense and swarming defense and I am excited for our football program."
Craig Hatcher, Chesterfield's Athletic Director, looks forward to Coach Mains continuing the successful football program. "He will be a valuable asset and a hard worker for not only our program but for our Chesterfield community.  I think he will do an excellent job with the players, the staff, and administration in hopes of continuing to develop our young men, says Hatcher.
