Chesterfield High Shines at National SkillsUSA Conference
Chesterfield High School was proudly represented at the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia, from June 23–27. Law Enforcement Instructor Richard Carnes accompanied students Carson McCollum, Michaela Lisenby, and Allison Lloyd, while Mechatronics Instructor Jeff Spencer accompanied students Alea Brown and Savannah Gunter.
These students earned the right to compete at the national level by winning their respective state championships. Alea and Savannah achieved an outstanding 3rd place finish in the nation in Mechatronics, while Carson, Michaela, and Allison placed 23rd nationally in the Criminal Justice team competition.
These remarkable students have shown exceptional dedication, spending countless hours preparing for the competition. Their performance was nothing short of exemplary, and they represented Chesterfield High and the state of South Carolina with pride and professionalism.
